Sunday.....off to Eataly near the Flatiron Building off Union Square.

Lovely old churches in amongst the tall buildings ! I'm loving the architecture!!!
Flatiron Building....amazing!! 22 storey steel framed...considered to be a ground breaking skyscraper!! Designed as a vertical Renaissance palazzo by Daniel Burnham from Chicago ,completed in 1902. Being a wedge shaped building,the name -Flatiron - derives from its resemblance to a cast iron- clothes iron!!
Great place...plenty of fresh food and lots of restaurants in the same space!

Pizza for the boys and pappardelle with lamb Ragu,mint and lemon for Joel....plus a bottle of prosseco for the old Sheila with them!!! Made walking a lot easier!!!!
Dinner at Taverna Di Bacco......great ending to the day !!!

Near Providence...Rhode Island.. The houses along the train route were set in green pastures and looked like something out of a fairy tale ......Chelsea googled real estate ...homes for sale at 5.9 million!!!
Woke at 5.47 am and looked out the window of the 3 storey old Victorian house we are staying in and look what I saw!!!!!!
