TUESDAY 29th....Boston,a very pretty city!
Our Airbnb digs!! Beautiful old 4 storey home...tenant downstairs..huge basement ..we have remainder of house...a rabbit warren of stairs and rooms but what character! A love affair to look after!!!!

First night and Chelsea utilised kitchen...roast chicken...veggies and home made gravy ! Perfect!!

Lee arrived on the 29 th and we set out on public transport to do the Freedom Trail...about a 6 km walk around the city...follow the brick trail...Rest of the family have taken a car and are off exploring!!
USS CONSTITUTION ..first naval ship put into battle!! Lee at the helm!!

Monument on Bunker Hill for the Revolution in 1776....

Freedom trail route...easy to follow the 4 rows of bricks!!
Cops Hill...graveyard used for years and they would discard bones from a grave to bury another body...imagine the families who would come to mourn their loved ones only to find their bones left scattered!!!

THURSDAY 31st....have cars will go on a Witch Hunt to Salem ,28 miles .....
First stop Danvers...was Salem Village but changed its name after the witch hunt!!! Great memorial and very pretty part of the world!!

The young ones departed for a night out and Buck and I stayed with the boys!!!!!
FRIDAY 1st....Chelsea and Joel took the boys to the zoo...we left for a stroll around Harvard....rendezvous for lunch!!!
Lunch at a nice little Italian restaurant....yes I did order food to go with this glass of Pinot Grigio !!!
SATURDAY 2nd....early rise...flight to Chicago...Ryan and Lee leave us to head to Baltimore and Washington DC....
