Arrived at hotel suites just over the Chicago River ...fight near the Loop and the Magnificent Mile shopping district!!! Room not ready so ditched the bags and took of for a walk....they had had a huge amount of snow fall !

Riverside walk.....beautiful architecture ...Chicago is known for it!!!
River walk to the Navy Pier....huge area undercover,full of restaurants,family fun etc....great idea for the winter months....

SUNDAY3rd.....yep....brrrrr....-1!!!! This is called the Cloud Gate...futuristic silver bean that gives distorted images...good fun!! It's in Millenium Park....gorgeous area for fun and entertainment !

Meant up with Buck and came across Jake Melnicks Corner Tap.....lunchtime...
This would feed at least 2 in my books.....!!!!
We took off to Lincoln Park Zoo at 5oclock to catch the last night of display of light....very special my pics don't do it justice.big kids and little kids Winter Wonderland!!!!
Got back to the hotel and Buck and I took off to a blues bar ....Blue Chicago...few drinks...a dance .....great end to our day!!!
