WEDNESDAY 6th.....An early start to the day....flight to Washington and Chelsea Joel and the boys fly to San Francisco .....we will catch them next week in LA and fly home together!!!
Arrived at 11.15 am...taxi to our hotel Lombardy....Pennsylvania Ave... dropped of bags and set off! Bit fresh but sunshine to warm us and blue sky...first impression,very clean city and lots of open spaces!!!
Made our way towards Georgetown....a bowl of Asian noodles for lunch and then a trek towards The Mall past Layfayette Square....
